Fish

Whether you choose fish skin mounts, fish fiberglass replicas or repairs to old mounts, Pep's Taxidermy is the place to go.

On skin mounts, we offer one-sided mounts or a 360 degree competition mounts. For fish replicas, take a good quality photo and a length measurement, and we will recreate your fish to lifelike perfection!

When it comes to fish restoration, we can make minor repairs or we can do complete fish restoration, including fin repair, eye replacement and a complete repaint and gloss job.

Whatever mount you choose, Pep's Taxidermy can display your trophy to your liking, with extras including driftwood, weeds, lily pads or a complete habitat base.

Most fish are completed within 3 to 4 months.

Field Care Tips

	Once boated, do not allow the fish to scar itself or tear fins by thrashing.
	If using a stringer, do not run the stringer through the throat latch (flesh area under jaw). Run the stringer through the fish's mouth and out the gills.
	Do not gut out your fish!
	If at all possible, bring your fish in fresh to Pep’s Taxidermy. If not possible, wrap the fish in a wet cloth and then wrap in double plastic bags and lay it as flat as possible in the freezer before bringing it to us.
